AI Use Disclosure

This page explains exactly how AI is used inside Pulled, because we think you deserve a clear answer before you trust us with information about your child.

The short version

Before your answers are processed by AI, your child's name and your name are removed and replaced with placeholders. A real human on our team reviews and edits the draft by hand, restores your names, and sends the polished version to you. We use AI under settings that do not allow your answers to be used to train AI models.

How the AI step works

When you submit the form, we copy your answers into a prompt we have written. Before anything is sent to AI, we replace your child's name with [CHILD] and your name with [PARENT]. The prompt tells the AI what a good Section 38 application looks like, what tone to use, and what to include and avoid. The AI returns a draft. A real human on our team reads the draft from start to finish, fixes anything that is generic, missing, or off, restores your real names, and then sends the polished Word and PDF back to you.

What the AI does and does not do with your answers

We use AI with data training disabled. Under those settings:

  • Your answers are not used to train any AI model.
  • No names are transmitted to any AI system — we remove them before processing.
  • The AI does not have memory across customers. Your answers are not visible to anyone else's draft.

We are in the process of migrating to Anthropic's commercial API, which provides additional contractual protections. We will update this page when that migration is complete.

The honest limits of AI

The AI is good at structuring sentences and finding the right tone. It is not a substitute for your knowledge of your own child. That is why a human reviews every draft, and why you have the final say. If anything in the draft does not sound like your family, change it. The signature on the application will be yours.
